Cycle News Magazine 2019 Issue 45
Rennie Scaysbrook | November 12, 2019
Cycle News Issue 45 has officially dropped and as we reach the end of a hectic 2019, we head out into the woods and test the 2020 KTM 250 XC TPI two-stroke. Is this a WORCS ready racer from the Austrians? Also from KTM, we have the world-first test of the 890 Duke R—this is a prototype of the machine that was just launched at EICMA in Milan, and our European Editor, Alan Cathcart was the first rider in the world outside the factory to take one for a spin. Not to be outdone, Ducati threw us the keys to their delectable Panigale V4 R for three intense sessions at Willow Springs in California. The V4 R is a monster, and Rennie still has the white knuckles to prove it! On the racing front, we have all the action from the Paris Supercross, the ISDE gets underway in Portugal as team USA tries to close down defending champions, Australia, we recap the Elsinore Grand Prix and bring you our favorite bikes from the recent EICMA extravaganza in Italy.
