This is a press release from First Gear…
Irvine, CA (July 22, 2019) – FirstGear USA is proud to announce its partnership with Motorcycle industry veteran Scot Harden as a Brand Ambassador as well as an integral part of our test team. Scot will be representing FirstGear at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, The Colorado 600, the KTM Adventure Rider Rally, AIMExpo, press functions and other activities throughout the year. In addition, he will be posting special features and blogs on his website and in social media about his experience with FirstGear.
From the testing side, Scot logs a tremendous number of miles per year. Everything from short daily rides, to rides across the hot southwest desert, and up into the Rockies of Colorado. Scot’s experience evaluating product and putting it to use in some of the most extreme elements a rider will face, all while being able to provide detailed feedback is invaluable. While we have a great team here and test riders in place, it is always an honor to partner and work with someone like Scot that has amassed years of knowledge in every condition imaginable.
“I’m very excited to be working with the team at FirstGear” commented Harden. “FirstGear is one of the most iconic brands in all of adventure as well as sport touring motorcycling. They are currently making a serious effort to expand their product line and re-establish their position in the marketplace. Their goals align perfectly with my passion for adventure motorcycling and I look forward to helping them elevate the brand, and most importantly, develop product that adventure/sport touring motorcyclists will genuinely appreciate.”
