Gear And Accessories Giant Will Again Sponsor Sonoma Raceway Round
This is a press release from MotoAmerica…
Costa Mesa, CA (March 14, 2019)- MotoAmerica has announced that Cycle Gear will again be an official partner of the MotoAmerica Series for the 2019 racing season. Cycle Gear, a national network of 125-plus motorcycle gear and accessories stores, will be back with its “MegaTent” at each event where it sells its wares, and will also continue its title sponsorship of the Cycle Gear Championship of Sonoma, scheduled for August 10-11 at Sonoma Raceway.
The partnership with Cycle Gear will again be all encompassing and will include in-store activation, ticket outlets, and opportunities for fans to interact with the stars of MotoAmerica. Additionally, Cycle Gear will also have on-site MegaTents at each event where it will sell its goods, which include the products of the majority of MotoAmerica’s other partners, at prices exclusive to MotoAmerica fans.
“Last year the Cycle Gear MegaTents were a big hit at our events,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “The MegaTents give our fans a chance to shop in what for all practical purposes is a Cycle Gear store within our paddock. It will be great working with them in 2019 as we continue to build on what we had in 2018, including the in-store activation, rider appearances and the Sonoma Raceway title sponsorship.”
“We are extremely proud to be the Official Retailer of MotoAmerica for the second season in a row,” said Andy Johnson, Cycle Gear’s Senior Director of Business Development. “We’re fans of the sport and recognize the continued progress that MotoAmerica has achieved with American road racing during their short tenure. The Cycle Gear MegaTent will be on-site at every round in 2019 offering an 1800 square-foot retail space showcasing some of the best motorcycle apparel and accessory brands in the world. Our gear experts will be in the house providing industry-leading customer service to help with those crucial purchasing decisions – whether it’s a new suit, jacket, helmet, or even a communication system. Additionally, the MegaTent will play host to various fan activation activities throughout the season, including athlete signings and contests. We’re looking forward to a great year with MotoAmerica and its fans all over the country.”
