This is a press release from AMRA…
Phoenix, AZ (October 30, 2018) – Freedom Hare Scrambles, round three of the MotoCity Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) big-bike race series and round two of the Fly Racing AMRA minibike race series, will take place on November 11 at 3C Ranch in Oracle, Arizona. The event is part of a 14-race series sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association.
Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains at 4,700 ft. with views of Mt. Lemmon, 3C Ranch is a private cattle ranch that has welcomed AMRA to be part of their grand opening of their new bar and restaurant on the property. If that doesn’t suit your fancy, just a quarter-mile away is the Arizona Zip Line Adventures and the Peppersauce Kitchen.
“Riders can expect mostly tight single track with plenty of rocks, trees and bushes with sandy, flowy washes in the mix,” says Bob Russell, president of XMC. “Skid plates and handguards will come in handy. The big-bike course will be 6 miles in length, with a more technical A/B split. The 85cc course will be approximately 3 miles, and the 50cc course will be approximately 1 mile in length. There is dry RV camping available and event T-shirts will be on sale.”
