New Triumph Speed Triple Coming—The Triumph Speed Triple will, at last, be getting its first major revision in seven years this year, judging by these two rather cheesy teaser videos.
Staring Triumph ambassadors Carl Fogarty and Gary Johnson, the two Isle of Man TT legends can be seen blasting around on a redesigned model that carries much of the tech we saw with the 2017 Street Triple 765 RS. At a glance the 1050cc Speed Triple will get a new dash, new lights, Brembo brakes, black Öhlins forks, new five-spoke wheels, exhaust and tank design, although Triumph USA is keeping very tight-lipped on the technical changes within the motor itself, saying only that all will be revealed on February 5.
We’ll be testing this bad boy in the coming months and if the new Speed Triple is anything like the Street Triple, Triumph will be right back in the supernaked big leagues this year.
