Product Showcase: Arai Defiant Pro Cruise Helmet
Cycle News Staff | July 15, 2015
Based on the fit and comfort of the Quantum, the Arai Defiant Pro-Cruise was built for the upright-riding position. Its chin spoiler was designed to guide wind around the neck and to improve the aerodynamic properties of the helmet.
A Hyper Ridge Bumper circles the bottom of the shell, lowering the helmet’s center of gravity, adding strength, in addition to making it easier to put it on and take it off since it flares the helmet opening slightly.
The helmet has Arai’s latest faceshield design, the SAI Max Vision Pinlock Shield, which has built-in brow vents. The SAI Max Vision shield has been widened by 5mm left and right for a wider eyeports for improved peripheral vision.
The Defiant Pro-Cruise also has a built-in adjustable sun shade, which also functions as a peak.
