MotoGP: 2015 MotoGP Schedule Released

The 2015 MotoGP World Championship will consist of 18 rounds with two rounds schedule for the U.S. – the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas at Circuit of the Americas and the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The calendar almost mirrors the 2014 schedule with just a few changes. The series will start a week later (March 2), albeit at the same venue – Losail in Qatar. Two weeks later the U.S. will host the first of its two rounds in Austin, Texas, on April 12 with the Indy Grand Prix set to be round 10 of the series, following the championship’s four-week summer break, on August 9.

At this point Brazil is not on the calendar though Dorna had been hoping to have a round in Goiania.

The series schedule is as follows:

March 29 – Qatar, Doha/Losail

April 12 – Texas, Circuit of the Americas/Austin

April 19 – Argentina, Termas del Rio Hondo

May 3 – Spain, Jerez

May 17 – France, Le Mans

May 31 – Italy, Mugello

June 14 – Spain, Catalunya

June 27 – Holland, Assen

July 12 – Germany, Sachsenring

August 9 – Indiana, Indianapolis

August 16 – Czech Republic, Brno

August 30 – Great Britain, Donington Park

September 13 – San Marino, Misano

September 27 – Aragon, Motorland Aragon

October 11 – Japan, Motegi

October 18 – Australia, Phillip Island

October 25 – Malaysia, Sepang

November 8 – Spain, Valencia
