With the recent signing of privateer Weston Peick to the roster, there has been a lot of focus on the RCH Soaring Eagle team. This week there was word that longtime team member Josh Hill would not be returning to the team for the outdoor series. According to team manager Kenny Watson, Hill only had a Supercross deal to begin with, although he had an option to go outdoor racing, which the team opted not to use.

“There were no hard feelings, and it was nothing personal,” said Watson. “He just didn’t have a deal for outdoors and we decided not to exercise his option.”

There is also the rumor that the team has hired Ivan Tedesco to ride the outdoor series until Broc Tickle returns from injury, which Watson says will be mid-summer, halfway into the outdoor schedule. Watson wouldn’t confirm or deny the Tedesco rumor but said that the team would have a press release out next week talking about the team’s plans for outdoors.

Another big rumor circulating is that RCH Soaring Eagle is talking with Ken Roczen about riding for the team next year.
