The U.S. Junior World Team finished on the podium in third.
To say that France dominated this year’s 87th International Six Days Enduro in Germany would be an understatement. Not only did France win the premier World Trophy division by a staggering 37 minutes but it won everything in sight. France also claimed victory in both the Junior World Trophy and Women’s Trophy divisions. And that’s not all. French riders won all three (E1, E2 and E3) classes, as well the overall individual title, which included the top four positions. To say the least, it was one of the greatest performances by a country in ISDE history.
In the World Trophy Team category, France (Christophe Nambotin, Pierre-Alexandre Renet, Antoine Meo, Rodrig Thain, Sebastien Guillaume and Johnny Aubert) finished well ahead of Australia (Josh Strang, Glenn Kearney, Daniel Milner, Christopher Hollis, Matthew Phillips and Toby Price), which enjoyed a 10-minute cushion over Italy.

France’s Christophe Nambotin edged out fellow countryman Antoine Meo for top individual honors. Nambotin also topped the E3 class, while Meo captured the E1-class win. Frenchman Piere-Alexandre Renet was the E2-class winner.
Team USA finished off the Six Days with good reason to celebrate. The U.S. Junior World Team – Travis Coy, Thad DuVall, Andrew Delong and Jesse Groemm – held tough all week and will head home with the Bronze medal for a job well done. The team finished all alone in third place, sandwiched between Great Britain (second) and Australia (fourth).

France won the Junior World class by about two minutes and 40 seconds over Great Britain.
The U.S. Trophy Team had a roller-coaster week and finished it off on a high note. Kurt Caselli, Charlie Mullins, Destry Abbott, Taylor Robert, Russell Bobbitt and Mike Brown went into day six in fifth place, but when today’s final MX test was over, they had nipped Finland by two seconds to finish out the Six Days in fourth.
And Brown had the Stars and Stripes waving proudly all around the final motocross test, which consisted of a mix of pavement and dirt, as he took the win in the top-seeded E1 moto, taking the checkered flag 10 seconds ahead of Frenchman Rodrig Thain.
This year’s top American class finisher was Taylor Robert who claimed seventh place in the competitive E2 division. Thad DuVall was next best, finishing ninth in E2.
The top-finishing U.S. Club Team was the Wellard squad, made up of Fred Hoess, Johnny Barber and Jordan Brandt. The trio finished out the Six Days in 13th. The Boise Ridge Riders were next best in 17th.
Mandi Masten was the only U.S. Women finisher. She took 13th in today’s EW final moto.
Christophe Nambotin is the E3 individual overall winner.
