For the second straight year, the Japanese Grand Prix will be moved following the disastrous earthquake and tsunamis that struck Japan last week. The race, originally scheduled for April 24 at the Twin Ring Motegi, which is some 75 miles north of Tokyo, will now be held on October 2.Last year the race was postponed because of the Icelandic volcano eruption that prevented the teams from traveling to the race from Europe.The new schedule is as follows:

June 12 – Silverstone, England
June 25 – Assen, Holland

August 14 – Brno, Czech Republic
August 28 – Indianapolis, Indiana
September 4 – Misano, Italy
September 18 – Aragon, Portugal
October 2 – Motegi, Japan
October 16 – Phillip Island, Australia
October 23 – Sepang, Malaysia
November 6 – Valencia, Spain
