It’s now official: James Stewart will, as expected, make his return at the next round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Unadilla (New York), August 14, according to Allisports and MX Sports, the organizer of the outdoor series. Stewart has officially submitted his entry, so, after half a year, we’ll finally get to see the 2008 450cc Motocross Champion back on the track again. He will compete in the last four rounds of the 2010 outdoor series.

Stewart broke the “navicular” bone in his wrist at the Phoenix Supercross in January and has been sidelined ever since. This will be Stewart’s first outdoor race since his perfect season in 2008.Stewart, however, will not be competing in this year’s X Games, which gets underway today in Los Angeles.
