Formula USA has announced that the previously scheduled September 28th, Boise Dirt Track event has been canceled.
“There were numerous circumstances that led to the cancellation, but it simply boiled down to the Boise event not being ready to happen yet,” said Mike Kidd, vice president of operations for Clear Channel Entertainment. “This allows us to focus our energy and excitement on the remaining 2002 Drag Specialties National Dirt Track Series events, including our first stadium dirt track racing event at the Tacoma Dome.”
The remaining 2002 Drag Specialties National Dirt Track Series follows:
Sat, Sept. 14 – Sacramento, CA (Cal Expo)*
Sept. 21-22 – Tacoma, WA (Tacoma Dome)
Sat, Oct. 5 – Del Mar, CA (Del Mar Fairgrounds Short Track)
Sun, Oct. 6 – Del Mar, CA (Del Mar Fairgrounds Mile/Grandstand)*
