Team Green’s Brian Brown won round seven of the AMA National Hare & Hound Series, his first victory while wearing the number one plate, at Lucerne Valley, California, on October 8. He took the lead early and kept Team Green teammate Destry Abbott at bay for the entire 78 miles. Abbott clinched the series championship at the previous round in Nevada.

Vet-class winner Dan Richardson came in third, making it a Team Green KX500 sweep. Russell Pearson was fourth on his Yamaha YZ426F while Oakley Lehman rounded out the top five on his Price Racing KX500.

Shane Esposito took sixth overall on his Team Green KX250, edging Team Green KX125-mounted Kurt Caselli at the finish. In taking the 250cc win, Esposito wrapped up the series 250cc title.

The series concludes at Lucerne on October 22.
