2026 AMA National Hard Enduro Championship announced that round six, the Tough Like RORR event, is canceled. The event was scheduled for May 23-24 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Due to circumstances beyond the control of Reading Off Road Riders (RORR) and its land partner, the club has regrettably made the decision to cancel this year’s Tough Like RORR event.
RORR is forever grateful to the racers, fans, sponsors, and partners that have shared the Tough Like RORR experience with us and helped build the event’s reputation as one of America’s toughest races over the last eleven years. We’re thrilled to have been a part of the growth of hard enduro and sad that we cannot share in the sport’s inaugural AMA National Championship season.
While we understand that this decision is difficult and disrupting for many, as it is for us. We sincerely apologize for those impacts, but we could really use the racing community’s support in recovering from this unanticipated outcome. We had committed to raffling a brand-new 2026 KTM 300 XC-W at Tough Like RORR this year. That raffle is still active and in past years many tickets were sold during the event. Please help RORR sell those tickets this year by scanning the QR code below and by spreading the word.
Perhaps Tough Like RORR returns someday, that is yet to be determined, but until then we look forward to seeing our hard enduro family at October’s Coal Cracker Smacker.

The High Mountain Dirt Riders are disappointed with the cancellation of Tough Like RORR for 2026. This is a big loss for our Pennsylvania Hard Enduro community. Since Tough Like RORR and HMDR are partners in the Keystone Challenge ,HMDR will be making adjustments to the Locked N Loaded Hard Scramble. This will include going from a one-day event to a two-day-event format.

The AMA Regional Championship 2026 schedules are out for the West Hard Enduro Series and East Hard Enduro Series.

Below is the 2026 Class Schedule, which welcomes a couple new Pro classes and splits the Youth class up into a few categories.

Pickerington, OH (November 21, 2025) — The American Motorcyclist Association announced that the AMA U.S. Hard Enduro Series — now, the AMA National Hard Enduro Championship — will be a national championship series starting in 2026.
With events spanning from Hawaii to Pennsylvania, the AMA National Hard Enduro Championship is one of the largest off-road racing series in the United States.
“The AMA U.S. Hard Enduro Series has been a terrific partner of the AMA for years, and we are happy to have them aboard as an AMA national championship series,” AMA Off-Road Racing Manager Logan Densmore said. “We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with the series, and allowing racers all across the country opportunities to compete for AMA National No. 1 plates.”
The AMA National Hard Enduro Championship has awarded three championships during this season, with the USHE Premier Championship, the AMA West Hard Enduro Series and the AMA East Hard Enduro Series titles all being awarded in 2025. The West and East regional championships will also remain in place in 2026 and beyond.
In 2026, the AMA National Hard Enduro Championship will award its national champions at the Tennessee Knockout Enduro, which will also mark the final round of the impending season.
“U.S. Hard Enduro is honored to achieve AMA National Championship status, as the USHE management, promoters, clubs, teams, and racers across the country have been working hard to help grow Hard Enduro here in North America,” AMA National Hard Enduro Championship promoter Matt Musgrove said. “The Hard Enduro community is amazing, as every racer is challenging their physical and mental limits, while riding dirt bikes in some of the most beautiful corners of the United States. We would like to give a special thanks to our friends at the Red Bull Tennessee Knockout, the longest-running hard enduro in North America, for being such a central part of this AMA National Championship and progressing the sport in so many ways.”
The AMA National Hard Enduro Championship will kick off at the King of the Motos in Johnson Valley, California, on January 24-25.
