WorldSBK Race Two
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) won his third race at Donington Park to extend his record of individual race wins at this venue to 12, and take the championship lead – if by four points only.
He was just under three seconds ahead of Bulega in the final Donington Race, which he led throughout.

Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was second and came under late pressure from his own team-mate, Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) who was just over 0.1 seconds from second place after 23-laps.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) had looked good for a podium until he fell from second place as he chased the disappearing Razgatlioglu.
Fourth place, some ten seconds from the winner, was Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) was a further 1.6 seconds back, in fifth, but a strong season-best ride to sixth place from Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) saw him just one second behind the Independent Team Ducati rider.
Despite an off-track excursion at the Foggy Esses, Andrea Iannone (Team Pata GoEleven Ducati) secured seventh place, ahead of Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team), Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) and tenth placed Iker Lecuona (Honda HRC).
In the championship, after seven rounds and 21 races, Razgatlioglu has 345 points, Bulega 341 and Petrucci 209.

WorldSSP Race Two
A much-desired home race win for the all-British combo of Tom Booth-Amos, the PTR Triumph Factory Team and the Triumph Street Triple RS 675 did not quite come off in the second WorldSSP race at Donington Park. The Union Jack collective did get to within 0.816 of race winner Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing), but it wasn’t quite to be.

Once again Lucas Mahias (GMT94-Yamaha) got himself onto a WorldSSP podium, finishing 1.8 seconds from the race win, in a race with the front three out ahead of several warring groups.
Top Ducati rider was Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) in fourth place after all 19-laps had been completed. Race Two was held in marginally less hot conditions than those experienced during Race One on Saturday.
Roberto Garcia (GMT94-Yamaha) was fifth, with Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) sixth.
Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) – still the clear championship leader – was ‘only’ seventh, with lone Kawasaki rider Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) eighth. The last rider Alcoba passed before the flag was top Honda runner, Corentin Perolari (Honda RACING World Supersport).
Over four seconds behind, Mattia Casadei (Motozoo ME air racing MV Agusta) rounded out the top ten.In the championship Öncü’s win and Manzi’s seventh place reduced the points gap at the very top of the table, but the Italian rider is still a whopping 45 points ahead of the Turkish competitor in an all-Yamaha R9 contest at this point of the year. Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) is third overall, on 182 points.

WorldWCR Race Two
A first race win since Assen saw Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha) win the second WorldWCR Race of the weekend.
Maria Herrera (Klint Forward Racing Team) made the early running until local rider Chloe Jones (GR Motorsport) took the lead with just over half of the 12 laps to go. The race was again a four rider fight, with Jones, Herrera, Sara Sanchez (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team) and Neila fighting it out.
The race would be won by the final lap strong pace of Neila, from Sanchez and Herrera.

Jones fell on the penultimate corner, after running wide and then cutting back at the Melbourne Hairpin. The contact between her and Herrera was investigated but the podium result was confirmed, with Jones getting going again to finish 11th.
Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94-YAMAHA) was a very close fourth, with Roberta Ponziani (Klint Forward Racing Team) fifth.
Pakita Ruiz (PR46+1 Racing Team) was sixth awhile a gutsy ride from Tayla Relph (TAYCO Motorsports) saw her seventh, after some good work from the medics and physios to help her with her broken fingers and tendon issues.
Eighth was Ornela Ongaro (Ongaro Racing Team), ninth Natalia Rivera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team) and Astrid Madrigal (Italika Racing FIMLA) rounded out the top ten.
In the championship, things have closed up significantly with Herrera on 131 points, Neila on 122 and Sanchez on 89. Ponziani has 86 points and even without a top four finish after her Race Two issues, Jones is fifth with 53 points.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) shot into the lead and eased away to win the WorldSBK Superpole Race by almost three seconds from Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati).
In a race without Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) – who had been declared unfit after morning warm-up despite being declared fit after his Saturday crash – it was up to his brother Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) to fly the Union flag.

He did so from an eventual third place on the podium.
Fourth was Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and fifth Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha), who won a late tussle with his own team-mate Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha). Rea, once again sporting his Joey Dunlop tribute crash helmet, had been second in the race early on but slowly got overtaken as the ten laps unfolded to a finish.
Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) was seventh, while Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) got the better of Andrea Iannone (Team Pata GoEleven Ducati) to finish eighth.
Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) rounded out the top ten.

WorldSBK Race One
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) raced at the front of the first 23-lap WorldSBK race at Donington from start to finish, and finally took another race win at the old English circuit.
Early race leader and front row starter Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) crashed out of the lead at the fast left hander going down Craner Curves, giving the lead to Razgatlioglu, who then applied unstoppable pace against his rivals.

In a Lap One/Turn One accident Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) made contact and fell, with Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) also clipped and taken out. Despite trying to restart, his bike had shed some bodywork and he had to retire.
After all these initial incidents, the race settled down with Razgatlioglu extending his race lead over Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) until the last lap, when the gap from first to second ended up at 6.5 seconds.
Third place went to Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati), who was 11 seconds back on Razgatlioglu.
Off podium, Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) placed fourth and Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) had a confidence-boosting fifth, after winning a personal duel with the sixth placed Scott Redding (MGM BONOVO Racing Ducati).
Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) and Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) had relatively strong races, in seventh and eighth place respectively, and even harrying the riders in front on the final laps.
Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) and Andrea Iannone (Team Pata GoEleven Ducati) rounded out the top ten.
Only 16 riders finished the 23-lap race.
With two more WorldSBK Races to go at Donington, Razgatlioglu is now only four points behind Bulega in the championship fight.

WorldSSP Race One
A late long-lap penalty for Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) ensured that the leading push of Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) would prevail in the final laps, after a superb fight for supremacy in the first 19-lap WorldSSP Race of the weekend.

Booth-Amos finished over four seconds from the win, with Lucas Mahias (GMT94-Yamaha) in an eventual third place.
Booth-Amos was penalised for repeatedly exceeding track limits.
Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) landed fourth place, and was the first Ducati rider home at a hot Donington Park. A potential race winner at one stage, Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) placed fifth, over eight seconds back.
Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) continued his return to form after early season injury in sixth place but an amazing recovery from a (penalised) 31st place on the grid saw Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) finish seventh, and just 12 seconds behind the race winner and pole setter Manzi.
Mattia Casadei (Motozoo ME air racing MV Agusta), Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse Ducati) and Aldi Mahendra (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) completed the top ten.

WorldWCR Race One
A race long fight at the front for Maria Herrera (Klint Forward Racing Team) saw her win the opening WorldWCR race at Donington, heading off her final closest challenger in a four rider fight, Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha). Neila set the fastest lap of the race – and a new lap record of 1’38.964 – right at the end, but was still 0.155 seconds back at the flag.

A career first for Chloe Jones (GR Motorsport) saw her take a podium finish, and at one stage it even seemed like should take the win herself at her home round. She would finish a convincing third, ahead of Sara Sanchez (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team).
Almost five seconds back on the winner, Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94-YAMAHA) was fifth.
Over 21-seconds from the winner after 12 laps, Pakita Ruiz (PR46+1 Racing Team) was sixth,

WorldSBK Superpole
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) beat the late push of his great championship rival Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) to claim the Superpole prize at Donington – albeit not quite at track best pace. The margin of ‘victory’ from toprak to Nicolo was 0.119 seconds.

Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) headed up the rankings until the last minute, but still took a front row start at his home round, in third position.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) managed to jump up the order right at the end of Superpole, finishing fourth overall. Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) will join Rea on the second row, after qualifying fifth and sixth respectively.
Ryan Vickers (MotoCorsa Racing Ducati) used his local track knowledge to the full to finish seventh quickest, following on his strong form from day one.
Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) was eighth fastest, with two more Ducati riders – Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) and Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) completing the top ten in a 24 rider field.

After finishing FP1 as the fastest rider Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was finally third in the combined times. His brother Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) prove to be fourth quickest, holding the BMW of Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) back in fifth place overall. Like Alex Lowes, Razgatlioglu was unable to improve his FP1 time in the hotter afternoon session.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) took a big step up in relative performance with his overall sixth place after FP2, which he earned by finishing fifth in FP2.
Local fans were enthused by the return to form of one Scott Redding (MGM BONOVO Racing Ducati) who was seventh in the combined Free Practice Times. The crowd were moved even more by a strong eighth place showing from Ryan Vickers (MotoCorsa Racing Ducati) in eighth place.
