Ducati has released a limited-edition Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia that pays homage to Ducati’s triumph in Azzurro at Mugello in 2024. Only 163 units will be made.

The bike honors the Azzurro of the Italian national sports teams with a special livery, the same one that Francesco Bagnaia and the Ducati Lenovo Team used to achieve victory at Mugello in 2024
It comes with exclusive components, including carbon-fiber rims, a dry clutch, a racing braking system with 338.5mm discs, and, for the first time on a production bike, Brembo GP4 Sport Production calipers.

All 163 units of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia have already been allocated.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, unveiled the bike in the presence of Adolfo Urso, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

Sunnyvale, CA (March 19, 2025) – The Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia honors the colors of Italy’s national sports teams and celebrates Francesco Bagnaia’s victory at last year’s Mugello Grand Prix.
Presented at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a collector’s model—limited to just 163 numbered units, each signed by Francesco Bagnaia—that takes enthusiasts back to the significant date of June 2, 2024. On Republic Day, the Ducati Lenovo Team raced in the Italian Grand Prix featuring a special Azzurro livery, honoring the colors of Italy’s national sports teams. They clinched first and second place with Bagnaia and Bastianini, achieving a dream one-two finish with two Italian riders on the highest steps of the podium.

The prestigious Salone degli Arazzi, located within Palazzo Piacentini in Rome and home to the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), hosted the presentation event for the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, unveiled the bike in the presence of Adolfo Urso, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

“Being at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy today to present the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a great honor and marks the culmination of a project that reflects the pure essence of Made in Italy,” declared Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati: “ I remember with great emotion the Mugello race last year, which ended with the unforgettable victory in ‘Azzurro’ on our home track, right on Republic Day. A success full of meaning and transformed into something tangible for our Ducatisti thanks to 163 unique bikes—one [as in] Pecco’s first place and 63 [as in] his race number in MotoGP—which embody Italy’s passion and sporting soul, expressions of our uniqueness on the international scene. On behalf of Ducati, I thank Minister Urso and MIMIT for hosting us and making this occasion even more important.”
The foundation of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is the new V4 S, which was presented last July at World Ducati Week. This model represents a significant evolutionary leap due to the integrated approach between aerodynamics and design, a completely redesigned chassis, and innovative electronic solutions such as the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) and Race eCBS.

The Tricolore Italia comes standard with technical features that enhance track performance, making it even more unique. It includes five-spoke carbon fiber wheels that reduce weight by 2 lbs. compared to the forged wheels of the Panigale V4 S, lowering the moment of inertia by 12% at the front and 19% at the rear. These wheels enhance the bike’s agility in changing direction and increase its ability to maintain trajectory during acceleration while still leaning.
The new Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is the first production bike in the world equipped with the Front Brake PRO+ front braking system. This system features two finned Brembo T-Drive discs, measuring 338.5mm in diameter and 6.2mm in thickness, which enhance braking power and performance consistency, along with GP4 Sport Production racing calipers that are machined from solid material and homologated for road use, complete with cooling fins. Used by the official Ducati riders in the 2024 Race of Champions, this system is derived from the racing versions utilized in the Superbike World Championship on the most demanding circuits. Additionally, the front brake pump is an MCS 19.21, with remote position adjustment for the brake lever, similar to those found on MotoGP bikes and Superbikes.

The special features of the Tricolore Italia include a dry clutch, adjustable footpegs crafted from solid aluminum, and a GPS module. For those planning to use it on the track, a racing tank cap made of solid aluminum, brake caliper guards, an open clutch cover in carbon fiber, and a kit for removing the license plate holder come standard. Riding this collector’s bike will be even more special thanks to an Alcantara seat, a racing plexiglass windshield, and a dedicated dashboard animation at key-on. Furthermore, each Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is adorned with the original signature of Pecco Bagnaia on the tank and will be delivered in an exclusive personalized wooden crate.
Like all collectible Ducati motorcycles, this model stands out with a steering plate made from solid aluminum, featuring the model’s name, unit number, circuit profile, and an inscription honoring the lap record set by Bagnaia.
The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia includes a certificate of authenticity and a specialized motorcycle cover. It arrives in a custom box designed to complement the livery, and the unit number is showcased on the aluminum badge of the ignition key.
Finally, the uniqueness of the Tricolore Italia is enhanced by the option for owners to complete its look with a limited-edition professional suit made of fine kangaroo leather in a color scheme that matches the bike’s. Customers who purchased the Tricolore Italia in North America will receive a Panigale V4 Tricolore helmet and jacket and have the option to purchase the Tricolor Italia suit.
All 163 units of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia have been allocated.
