The Switchback tool kit from Seattle-based CruzTools contains a set of basic tools for trailside repairs and adjustments for trail or enduro riders.
“This started as a project to build the ultimate trail tool kit for my KTM 350 EXC. I wasn’t happy with multi-tools that are hard to use. I also found generic tool kits to be far too heavy and bulky to store on the bike, so I developed the Switchback to be the best of both worlds. It’s compact and lightweight but has tools that are very functional and easy to use. Available in two different versions—one for KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas and the other for Japanese metric bikes—the lightweight kit weighs a lightweight 1.7 pounds and comes in a durable zip-up pouch that measures a compact 2 x 2 x 7 inches. Each kit comes with a five-in-one screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, wires, cable ties, assorted spanners, and a collapsible T-handle driver with sockets, hex and Torx bits in varying sizes, depending on the kit selected.
