Ducati Debuts Panigale V4 SP and a renewed SuperSport 950

Ducati today unveiled two revamped models for 2021 in the new Panigale V4 SP and a revamped SuperSport 950.
The SP (Sport Production) marks a return of one of Ducati’s best-loved monikers, which has adorned machines from the 851/888 to the 916 families. Ducati is labeling the SP has the hardest-edge sportbike in the company’s line-up that isn’t solely focused on track performance like the V4 R.
The SP gets the same 1103cc V4 as the base and S model Panigale’s with a claimed 214 hp but gets way more carbon fiber in the bodywork, winglets, and, crucially, carbon fiber wheels. The bodywork pays homage to the Ducati race teams, with the color labeled a very long-winded “Winter Test livery in matt black with bright red details and exposed brushed aluminum fuel tank.”
