It was a Suzuki weekend at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas. Not only did Suzuki sweep round two of the MotoAmerica Superbike class–thanks to Yoshimura Suzuki Factory teammates Toni Elias and Josh Herrin–but also the premier event of the weekend. Alex Rins outdueld Valentino Rossi to capture his first-career MotoGP victory and Suzuki’s first since 2016 when Maverick Vinalez was at the controls.
