Zach Osborne will have to wait to make his 450SX debut. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team rider suffered a broken collarbone while practicing for Saturday’s opening round of the 2019 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Anaheim.
According to the team, Osborne’s injury requires surgery and will be sidelined for at least six to eight weeks.
“I am extremely bummed at the timing of this injury,” Osborne said. “I feel that I have reached a level of riding that I never had in my career, on a bike that I’m so very comfortable with. I know that everything happens for a reason and I’ll be back as soon as possible!”
The team has not announced a possible fill-in rider.
