Cycle News Staff | December 16, 2018
The 2018 EnduroCross series recently wrapped up with Rockstar Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker securing the championship over FMF KTM’s Cody Webb. It was an exciting series that included full or near capacity crowds at all six events. Now comes news that Bonnier Corporation, the owner of EnduroCross for the past two years, has sold the series to WHR Motorsports. The following release was provided by WHR Motorsports:
WHR Motorsports, a long-time event producer from Kent, WA, has reached a deal with Bonnier Corporation to acquire the EnduroCross racing series, the premier motorcycle Enduro series in the United States, announced today by Jonathan Moore, SVP of the Events Division for Bonnier Corporation. The acquisition adds to the WHR events line-up which includes Arenacross, Supermoto, and Indoor/Outdoor Monster Truck events.
WHR plans to hold dates in many of the same markets as 2018 with the possibility of additional markets. EnduroCross has a formula that has proven to work over its long history and WHR is looking forward to building on that success. WHR plans to continue to create challenging tracks for the riders and produce action-packed events to which EnduroCross fans have grown accustomed to.
