Press Release | March 11, 2016
This is a press release from JuniorMotoX…
New Smyrna Beach, FL (March 11, 2016) – In an effort to provide more flexibility to the racers and their families, the inaugural JuniorMotoX will provide a minimum of two open practice sessions on Thursday and start the timed sessions on Friday morning. There is no additional cost for participating in the Thursday practice sessions and each class will have at least one morning and one afternoon practice, both of which are optional. Friday morning, each class will have a timed session that will determine gate picks for the qualification races that will take place on Friday afternoon.
“We expect that most racers will want to get all of the track time that they can but others may prefer to have an additional day to travel to the event,” said Eric Peronnard, the co-creator of the JuniorMotoX. “We had always planned for Thursday to be just for open practice and timed sessions to begin on Friday so we want to clarify that riders are not required to ride the Thursday sessions. They will also be able to register up until Thursday evening.”
