2015 MotoAmerica & Yamaha: Can you say “Sweep”?

Press Release | August 25, 2015

This is a press release from Yamaha Champions Riding School…

• 1000cc SuperBike Championship:  Yamaha (Josh Hayes or Cameron Beaubier)

• 1000cc SuperStock Championship: Yamaha (Jake Gagne)

• 600cc SuperSport Champion: Yamaha (J.D. Beach)

• 600cc SuperStock Champion: Yamaha (Joe Roberts)

What else do these Champions have in common? Well we know four of them will be making appearances at YCRS during the September 14-15 School at New Jersey Motorsports Park, according to Yamaha Race Team Manager Keith McCarty.

  • How important is trail-braking to their riding?
  • What are the differences and similarities in their riding positions?
  • How important is it to “Have a Plan”?
  • How do their skills apply to street riding?
  • Where will you be?

There are still some seats left so answer those questions by registering to learn to ride the way these champions do at www.ridelikeachampion.com and click enroll today.

September MotoAmerica and Yamaha Champ School: Watch It…Do It!

The final MotoAmerica national plays out September 11-13 at New Jersey Motorsports Park…and then it’s the Champ School’s turn to take to the track! Make plans to watch the best in the country and then ride with what graduates call “the best school in the world”. The Monday and Tuesday following the races will have you lapping both Lightning and Thunderbolt raceways on our Yamaha R6s, learning the Champions Habits that will help you reach your riding goals in two action-packed days.

I personally can’t wait for the final MotoAmerica race because we have so many graduates and instructors in the field, it’s going to be fun to watch. Please stop by the YCRS garage to say hello, but don’t wait until the weekend to sign-up for the 14/15 school because it’s filling fast. We’ve been sold out for 10 schools in a row and September looks to continue that streak.

If you can’t make YCRS in September, make a plan to visit us at Inde Motorsports Ranch near Tucson, Arizona. It’s a world-class country-club built around an astounding racetrack. We start at Inde on October 13/14, and will run once a month throughout the winter.

Looking forward to riding with you soon….Nick Ienatsch, Lead Instructor YCRS
