PJ Jacobsen Tops World Supersport Time Sheets In Misano

American PJ Jacobsen tops the times sheets on day one at Misano; locked in tie with Jules Cluzel.

Core” Motorsport Thailand Honda’s PJ Jacobsen was given the top ranking in the combined practice times from day one at Misano, but both he and MV Agusta Reparto Corse’s Jules Cluzel set an identical 1:38.569.

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing’s Kenan Sofuoglu was third and only .081 of a second behind as the series top three once more competed for top billing, on three different makes of machinery.

PATA Honda’s Kyle Smith pushed on to fourth place ahead of Gino Rea on the CIA Landlords Insurance Honda, but Smith was over half a second from opening day top rider Jacobsen.

Lorenzo Zanetti rode his official MV to sixth place before running on at the end of the session, while fast full season rookie Marco Faccani on the San Carlo Puccetti Racing Kawasaki was seventh.
