Troy Lee Designs has signed motocrosser Justin Hoeft to a multi-year contact, the youngster joining Cole Seely, Christian Craig, Jessy Nelson and Tarah Gieger in the Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda team.

Hoeft won two titles at this year’s Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship in the 85cc Stock and Mod classes and also won the Mammoth Motocross Super Mini and 85cc Championships. He also won the James Stewart Spring Championship 85cc Stock and Mod titles.

Hoeft will ride on the amateur side of the Troy Lee-owned team.

“I am excited for this opportunity with the Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda Team,” said Hoeft, who will turn 15 in December. “I’ve always liked TLD and am proud to represent them in the amateur class.”

Team manager Tyler Keefe is also excited about what Hoeft will bring to the team.

“With Jessy [Nelson] already called up to the 250 class, we wanted to bring on a new amateur rider to work with,” Keefe said. “Justin has tons of raw talent and we are looking forward to working with him and having a successful season in 2013 and beyond.”
