David Pearson headed back to Jericho, Utah, for the sixth round of the AMA Kenda National Hare & Hound Series and came away with overall win at the 52nd Annual Cherry Creek National, May 19.

The Sugarloager MC-hosted race was held in uncharacteristically warm temperatures, but that didn’t bother Pearson any, as he worked his way to the front on his Kawasaki and rode off with the overall.

Fellow Kawasaki rider T.J. Hannifin took second, approximately 25 seconds behind Pearson, while previous-round winner Jacob Argubright, the early leader, made it an all-Kawasaki podium in third.

KTM rider Nick Thompson finished fourth, followed by Kawasaki-mounted Nick Burson.

Defending champ Kurt Caselli did not compete. The FMF/KTM team rider injured his shoulder at the last round and was unable to suit up.
