California Motorsport promotions and the Graham family are working together to bring the 2008 Ricky Graham Challenge to the Salinas Sports Complex on Saturday April 12, 2008.
“We are running all classes from Pee Wees to the 750 Vintage twins on a big and fast cushion, TT, class-C traction track (five bikes make a class),” says Jim Beck. “There will also be two posted Knobby classes; an Open class and a 250 class. Brakeless bikes will run on their own short track following the TT. The 230cc-and-under bikes can run either knobby or class-C tires. Additionally, we will have a wheelie contest and a ‘best looking built machine’ contest, so bring out those beautiful vintage bikes. The Open A class pays $1000 to win, and the vintage A is 100% payback. Gates open at 7 a.m., practice at 9 a.m.
