Michael Rutter rode his Level 3 Yamaha to victory in today’s Macau Grand Prix, topping fellow Brit David Jefferies by 9.785 seconds. Jefferies also rode a Yamaha. American Mark Miller finished third on his Attack Performance Yamaha R1.
Former Daytona 250cc Lightweight winner John McGuiness finished fourth on a Demon Vimto Honda 500cc twin, with similarly mounted Gus Scott finishing fifth. American Mike Barnes finished 12th while Graves Yamaha’s Vincent Haskovec retired after 13 of 15 laps.
