Lampkins Doubles, Again

| September 4, 2000

Montesa’s Dougie Lampkin ended the World Trials Championship season the way you’d expect him to, with a double win in the final round at Saint Julia, Andorra on September 2 and 3.

The order of finish for the top four was the same on both days, Lampkin beating Japan’s Takahisa Fujinami, Spain’s Marc Colomer, and Spain’s Marc Freixa in the tiny nation on the border between Spain and France.

It was also the way the order of the top four finished in the championship.

Next up for Lampkin is the Trial des Nations at Seva, Spain (near Barcelona) on 10 September 2000.
