Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco emerged as a separate entity after originally making parts for Honda in the early 1960s. By the 2000s, Kymco’s scooter range exploded, the manufacturer becoming the largest scooter builder in Taiwan and the fifth largest in the world.
The company now builds motorcycles, scooters, and side x sides, only a portion of which from each category are sold in the United States with the majority of the range focused on the Asian markets.
