Las Vegas, NV (January 18, 2026) – Three former two-wheel superstars—Ricky Johnson, Jeff Emig and Colin “Scummy” Morrison—have been added to the featured guests on Saturday, January 31, in the sixth annual “Hot Shoe” Hall of Fame Museum and Motorcycle Industry Celebration at the Las Vegas’ Notoriety Theatre in the famed Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience (450 E. Fremont St., 3rd Floor).

Joining the likes of Eddie Lawson, Scott Parker, Jay Springsteen and Garth Brow for the unique “Hot Shoe” Hall of Fame presentation, the three motorcycle icons have been inducted with the growing list of “Hot Shoe” recipients for their impressive two-wheel careers included numerous series championships, race victories and innovative concepts.

Johnson, a seven-time AMA Motocross and Supercross champion, was the1980s motocross dominating rider with titles in 1984 (250cc), 1986 (250cc and Supercross), 1987 (250cc & 500cc) and 1988 (500cc and Supercross. He is also a member of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame. But Johnson’s racing accomplishments didn’t stop in two wheels, as the El Cajon, CA, native has been a multi-time series winner in four wheels including Trophy Trucks which he continues to campaign in the Legends class. Ricky has won (with Gus Vildosola) 16 consecutive Trophy Truck Legends races.

Emig, the Kansas native, stunned the motocross world back in 1980s with four titles at the Loretta Lynn’s Nationals as a youngster and became a factory Kawasaki racer in 1990. In 1992, Emig won the first of his AMA championships in the 125cc class and scored titles in 1996 and 1997 (250cc) as well as FIM World Supercross (1996) and Supercross (250cc). After a serious injury forced Jeff to retire in 2000, he became a superb analyst in national Supercross television productions. Emig won 37 AMA races in his career.

Morrison, an original member of legendary Metal Mulisha, was a pioneer in the freestyle motocross competition (FMX) and campaigned in the famed Warped Tour at age 16. “Scummy” was a medalist in the ESPN X-Games and appeared in countless videos and magazines as well as helping build the dirt-bike culture which continues today. Unfortunately, drugs and alcohol halted Morrison’s career and threatened his life. But a great recovery and a daily commitment to sobriety turned around Morrison’s life and he currently assists others getting sober including hosting the “Talking Sobriety” podcast.

The 2026 “Hot Shoe” Celebration also includes a special association with the annual Mecum Auctions motorcycle event at the South Point Casino and Resort. The “Michigan Mafia” was a popular contingent from the late 1970s to the 2000s with Parker, the nine-time AMA Grand National Champion and winningest race winner (94); Springsteen, the three-time AMA Grand National titleholder and first racer to capture 30 AMA Grand National races; and Brow, a dominant short track racer, captured his first AMA Grand National race in his “rookie year” (1977) at the famed Ascot Park as well as many Mile classics.

This amazing trio from Flint, Michigan, made shambles of the AMA Grand National flat track series for decades, with Parker leading the way with a sensational 55 AMA Mile victories and 35 AMA Half Mile wins. His handlebar-to-handlebar battles with the likes of Ricky Graham, Bubba Shobert and Chris Carr made for some of the greatest flat track racing in history. Scott took his first AMA Grand National win at DuQuoin in a classic run against the haybales. He went on to win 93 more races on Harley-Davidsons.

A star from the start in his 1975 rookie season in the AMA Grand National tour, Springsteen competed in 398 AMA flat track events and collected 43 AMA wins and three Grand Nationals championships (1976, 1977, 1978). A fan favorite for decades as a factory Harley-Davidson rider, “Springer” took on many of the greatest riders in flat track history, including Kenny Roberts, Gary Scott, Gene Romero, Parker, Graham, Shobert, Carr and others.

Brow, known by his popular nickname “Gonzo,” still races and wins in short track and ice competitions at age 67 and vaulted onto the AMA Grand National series in 1977 with his impressive Ascot Half Mile win over many legends of the sport and continued his raise in flat track racing with classic Mile wins at San Jose and Indianapolis. Brow rode a famed Bultaco in short track action and Harleys in Mile and Half Mile competition.
