Camden McLellan is continuing his MX2 career with the Triumph Factory Racing team as he renewed with the British manufacturer for another two year contract extension. This new deal sees McLellan race aboard the TF 250-X in the FIM MX2 World Championship through 2027 when he will age out of the MX2 division. The South African native has had a breakout season in 2025 where he scored his first-ever moto win in Italy and currently sits sixth in the MX2 standings.

“It’s a real honour for me to continue with Triumph Factory Racing,” said McLellan. “We’ve had two solid seasons already, and I’m feeling super grateful that they wanted me to be a part of the team for another two years. We’ve learned a lot together, and we have a solid foundation to build upon going forwards. Myself and everyone on the Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing team has worked really hard to get to where we are, and I’m surrounded by a great bunch of people focused on securing a world title. That’s the ultimate goal, and I’m super excited for the future. For now, though, I’m looking forward to ending this season on a high by putting myself on the podium as much as possible. Thanks again to the team for believing in me – it’s great to continue with what we’ve started, and I really think that the sky is the limit!”

“On behalf of the whole team, I’m really pleased that we can continue working with Camden for the next two years,” said Vincent Bereni – Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing Team Manager. “We really believe in his talent, he’s a hard worker, and I know that the best is yet to come for him. We’ve already achieved a lot together, and we’ll keep working hard to make sure that we can continue challenging for podiums, race wins, and ultimately an MX2 world title. We still have a few rounds remaining this year, and then we’ll have a little break before preparation begins for 2026.”

“We’re very pleased that Camden will be continuing with Triumph Factory Racing for the next two years and are excited to see what we can achieve together,” added Ian Kimber – Head of Triumph’s Global Racing Program. “Camden has been with us from the start of our entry in the MX2 World Championship, and having him in the team is important for the continuity of our ever-developing race programme. He has grown as a racer over these past seasons under the guidance of Thierry, Vince and Clement, and we know that, together with the work done by the team and back at base in Triumph, we have a lot of potential for the future.”
