Garrett Marchbanks has secured his future for another year with a contract extension on the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. Marchbanks made his professional debut with the team back in 2018 and captured his first career win before eventually rejoining the effort at the end of the 2024 Pro Motocross season. The Utah native landed his first Pro Motocross podium this summer and looks to close out the year in third overall in the 250MX division.

“I’m super pumped to be able to stay at Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki for another year,” Marchbanks said. “The team has always been super supportive and helpful with anything I need. I’ve really broken through this year with my training and riding and I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. I want to keep building on all the work we’ve been putting in this past year and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to stay here.”

Marchbanks grabbed his first career overall podium at Washougal earlier this year.

“We’re very excited to have Garrett on for another year and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and build with the team,” said Team Manager Mitch Payton. “He’s really proven himself this year and has shown he has what it takes to be a top contender in the field. I’ve seen all the hard work he has been putting in every week to get better and stronger. This outdoor season, he has really broken through and shown a lot of people the capabilities we’ve always seen in him. He is a very determined rider and an easy-going spirit that we will continue to enjoy having on the team.”

Marchbanks originally signed with the team back in 2018 and rejoined again in 2024.

Throughout his time with the team, Marchbanks has built an impressive resume, with 10 top five finishes, five podiums, and a win at the Daytona Supercross in 2020. Most recently, Marchbanks has earned five Top 5 finishes this summer in the Pro Motocross Championship and a career-first overall 250MX podium at Washougal. With one round remaining, Marchbanks sits third in the 250MX points standings and looks to close out an already standout year on a high note.
