Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss was injured while riding off-road at his property in Queensland, Australia.

The 52-year-old was knocked out and suffered seven broken ribs, a punctured lung and damage to his collarbone. It was his first ride since recovering from a broken ankle suffered earlier in the year.
“Back home yesterday afternoon, going from bed to sofa and managing 10 minutes or so on feet before needing more rest,” Bayliss wrote on his Instagram page. “Thanks to everyone for messages and staff at the hospital, Kimbo [Kim Bayliss]—my private nurse at home: I can see she hadn’t sold the bikes, so things are looking good!” CN
