Sherco’s Teodor Kabakchiev won the Hiu Selatan Hard Enduro main event in Indonesia on July 6. The race attracted around 1500 participants, including both local and international riders. Among them, 32 riders came from 20 different countries, with the rest from Indonesia.

Kabakchiev beat a talented field that included runner-up Manuel Lettenbichler, third-placed Graham Jarvis and fourth-placed Mario Roman. Beta’s Alfredo Gomez rounded out the top five.
The race covered varied terrain, including steep climbs, technical trails and riverbeds. Friday featured the prologue, which was won by Billy Bolt, followed by an urban parade and qualifications on Saturday, won by Lettenbichler, and the main race on Sunday, won by Kabakchiev.
“It is a crazy crowd here in Indonesia, as always,” said Kabakchiev. “People just love bikes, and they show it. I got a win in the main event. I am so happy to take the victory!”CN
