About She Rides
This story dives into the motorcycle clubs, builders, adventurers, influencers, racers & adrenaline seekers of yesterday and today inspiring women onto the road in record numbers. This film tells the inspiring stories of fearless women who are breaking barriers, redefining the motorcycle culture, and forging a powerful community on two wheels. Gaining attention from followers worldwide, national events and the press, She Rides stands poised to become the film that brings this previously underserved community together and into the well-deserved spotlight.
With a crew of long-time riders and moto adventurers who between them have a comprehensive background in film and television, She Rides will be an engaging in-depth examination of women in motorcycling, told through the voices of the women who ride. Crafted in a similar style to director Gareth Maxwell Roberts Oil In The Blood where it is the interviewees who create the narrative, She Rides aims to provide a platform that highlights and celebrates female motorcyclists, both historic and current and contributes to breaking down the gender barriers that continue to exist within the culture.
Through the Indiegogo campaign, supporters can see their name on the big screen along with these revolutionaries, score limited-edition She Rides merchandise, and even join the VIP premiere experience. Funds raised will support post-production, festival submissions, marketing, and a national screening tour—ensuring these powerful stories reach the audience they deserve.

Historically considered an exclusively male domain, women now constitute the fastest-growing segment within this culture, with 2023 license holder estimates in the USA exceeding 20% compared to 9% in 2003. From one of the original groups Motor Maids to contemporaries such as The Miss-Fires, The Litas, VC London and the Caramel Curves. The emergence of international women-only events such as Babes Ride Out, Camp VC, Women in Moto and the Wild Gypsie Tour offer a supportive environment in which women riders thrive. Women are not only molding their individual identity on two wheels but are actively changing the culture worldwide and She Rides captures it all.
