Sumitomo Rubber North America (SRNA), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., welcomed Jeff Botsford as regional sales manager for Dunlop Motorcycle Tires.
Dunlop Motorcycle Tires National Retail Development Manager Phil Waters stated, “We are thrilled for Jeff to join the Dunlop Motorcycle Tires team. He has extensive experience in the segment and fits the ‘Top Talent’ profile here at SRNA.”
Botsford began his career in the motorcycle industry in 1991. As an industry veteran, Botsford owned an aftermarket store and has extensive experience in parts, service and sales at a multi-line store in Delaware. He recently spent 15 years at Western Power Sports as a sales and marketing advisor in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Botsford will be responsible for the Northeast region, covering the states of Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine.
“We are excited to have Jeff join our team,” said Darren Thomas, SRNA’s CEO and president. “We believe his enthusiasm and expertise in the motorcycle industry will help elevate the Dunlop brand and support SRNA’s objectives.”
An avid adventure rider and e-bike enthusiast, Botsford has participated in over 400 enduro and hare scrambles throughout his career. He currently rides a Tenere 700, and in his spare time, Botsford enjoys the great outdoors, pulling his toys in his RV and camping.
