AXP Racing has two new skidplates to fit 2022-23 Ducati DesertX models that are outfitted with either SW-Motech or Hepco & Becker crash bars.
The skidplates are made from 8mm-thick HDPE plastic and provide coverage of the engine, cases, linkage and master cylinder. They are lighter in weight compared to their alloy counterparts, and they are also quieter, since the plastic does not reverberate engine noise or ping loudly when rocks strike it like aluminum units do. MSRP is listed at $360.
