Scott Myers came on strong to win the overall in a GFI North Fall Series Event

In this week’s Throwback Thursday, we wind back the clock to September of 1995 and travel to Sandhill Ranch Motocross track in Brentwood, California. Pictured is the start of the first 250 Pro moto and Rusty Holland (No. 86) got a great jump putting his Suzuki into the early lead. Holland was followed into the corner by Ricky Ryan (No. 81), Dean Matson (No. 01), Scott Myers (No. 98), Tyler Hummel (No. 7) and a host of others. Holland went on to win the moto in a tight race over Myers. But in the second moto Holland took a tumble and it was Myers coming through on his Kawasaki to take the win and the overall 250 Pro victory over a very strong field. Tyson Vohland and Ricky Ryan rounded out the podium finishers that day.
