HJC has released the new Spielberg Red Bull Ring colorway for its i50 off-road helmet and its F70 street helmet.
HJC i50 Off-Road Helmet
The i50 ($219.99) includes HJC’s SLID (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution) impact-distribution technology, which helps reduce rotational acceleration to the head. “ACS” Advanced Channeling Ventilation system (nine intakes, four exhausts) allows full front to back airflow to flush heat and humidity up and out.
The SuperCool interior keeps the rider’s head cool and fresh with moisture-wicking and antibacterial fabric that is removable and washable. The eyeport is optimized for increased downward field of view, and the polycarbonate shell has a dual-position goggle-strap guide to suit a rider’s preference. The extended peak is flexible so that it bends instead of breaks on impact, and the mouth vent can be removed without tools for easy cleaning. The i50 meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218/ECE 22.05 approved.
HJC F70 Street Helmet
The sport-touring F70 full-face helmet ($399.99) has a fiberglass shell and an integrated dropdown sunshield controlled by a smooth, easy to reach lever on the bottom of the shell. The breath guard has a street-fighter look and the F70 is ready for adding the SmartHJC Bluetooth comms, which were co-developed with SENA and tailored specially for HJC helmets.
Like the i50, it also has HJC’s SuperCool interior and “ACS” Advanced Channeling Ventilation system, with two top vents and five exhausts. Sizes range from XS through 2XL and it meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218/ECE 22.05 saftey standards.
