New KTM Off-Roaders Revealed
Cycle News Staff | April 25, 2022
KTM just unleashed the 2023 XC-W, XCF-W and EXC-F lineup featuring a new dog in the fight and updated styling hitting the entire PDS rear shock-equipped lineup, including purple graphic accents to throw it back to the ’90s, and orange frames across the board.
KTM has made one significant stock part change, too, ditching the previous Dunlop AT81 front tire for the much more universally enjoyed Dunlop MX33—the AT81 stays on the rear. Two-strokes still feature Transfer Port Injection (TPI) fueling and will come in 150, 250 and 300cc displacements. The four-stroke lineup gets a new racing member of the family with the 450 XCF-W—a competition-ready “uncorked” version of the XCF-W lineup that will come without the airbox reed system current XCF-W and EXC-F’s have, and a more open exhaust and unique engine map to make it more performance-focused.
Dual-sport riders will welcome back KTM’s 350 and 500cc EXC-F models, including a Six Days edition in the 500 EXC-F featuring all the French-event-inspired bling you can handle. CN
