Cycle News Magazine 2019 Issue 34
Cycle News Staff | August 26, 2019
This week’s issue of Cycle News magazine includes full coverage from the final round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship from Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. There was still one major championship left up for grabs–the 250MX Championship. It was Adam Cianciarulo’s for the taking and he did just that, wrapping up his long-awaiting first professional motocross title. Eli Tomac, who clinched the 450MX last week at Budds Creek, put the icing on the cake by winning the big-bore class at Crawfordsville. In MotoGP, it was another thriller that was decided in the last turn. This time it was Suzuki’s Alex Rins who put it to championship leader Marc Marquez. In Pittsburgh, Gerrett Gerloff and Toni Elias were the split winners at the MotoAmerica road race, but Elias was the big winner for gaining another precious point on his nearest championship pursuer Cameron Beaubier. EnduroCross got back to business again in Arizona, where Colton Haaker took the important win in the short three-round series. Ever wanted to know what it’s like to live with a Suzuki GSX-R1000 superbike? Road test editor Rennie Scaysbrook did, and he tells you about it. You will find all this and a lot more motorcycle events, news, and commentary in this week’s issue. Open Cycle News Magazine 2019 Issue 34 here.
