Jason DiSalvo, Daytona Sportbike Racer, Co-Owner Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy

Jason DiSalvo started off the 2011 season by winning the Daytona 200 despite blowing up a motor. He finished the year in 4th place after winning the first three rounds. For 2012 DiSalvo will be contesting the Daytona class once again but this year he will be on a Triumph. He has been busy in the offseason preparing for 2012 and making enhancements to his riding school the Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy. He will be launching the new site for his school today.

Brian Stokes, Pro Motocross and Road Racer

Stokes has been racing for 25 years – ten years in motocross and fifteen years road racing. He turned pro in motocross in 1991 and raced until 1994. He turned pro in road racing in 1999 and retired in 2011. He is currently co-owner of Jason Disalvo Speed Academy and AMA Crew chief for Garrett Gerloff. In his road racing career, he earned 32 national championships in WERA, CCS, ASRA and AMA sports. He was the 2003 AMA Horizon award winner, 2003 600 Suzuki Cup champion and member of the 2004 Suzuki World Cup team.

Paul Jamiol, Author – Bikers are Animals

Paul Jamiol, an avid motorcyclist, has been cartooning and illustrating for the past 40-plus years. He has been recognized for his work locally, nationally and internationally. His cartoons and illustrations have been featured in various motorcycle magazines and mainstream newspapers. Bikers are Animals uses a menagerie of cartoon animals in motorcycle dress and riding “cool” motorcycles, to show children and parents alike that motorcycle riding is fun and that motorcyclists are intelligent, appealing, hardworking, independent and family-oriented individuals. He just released his third book in the series.

Jake Weimer, 450 Supercross, Monster Energy Kawasaki

As a member of the Pro Circuit team in 2010, Jake won the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites West title after placing 2nd in 2009. He signed with Monster Energy Kawasaki for 2011 but his season was abbreviated due to an injury. Now he’s in his second year with the factory Kawasaki team and is off to a great start for this season in the 450 class. At the opening round in Anaheim he finished fifth, second in Phoenix, and was towards the front in Los Angeles until another rider put him on the ground, eventually finishing eleventh. He’s currently tied for fourth place in the points.

Steven Mages, Arenacross Racer – Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Gateway Cycles
Mages won the AX Lites East main event this past weekend in Dayton, Ohio and placed 11th in the AX main event. He is currently 4th overall in the AX Lites East points and 21st in the AX class points. A local Ohio racer, Mages has had a successful career as a local pro. He joined the Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Team this year mid-season and is coming along quickly improving his results every weekend.
