Pearson Perfect So Far

Russ Pearson is off to a good start in the AMA National Championship Hare & Hound Series. In Jericho, Utah, this past weekend, the Yamaha YZ450F rider captured his second win of the series and now enjoys a 10-point lead over Destry Abbott, who finished second. Third place went to Yamaha rider Rob Zimmerman, while Kawasaki’s Brian Brown and defending champ Ty Davis rounded out the top five overall.

After two of six rounds, Pearson leads the series with a perfect 60 points, with Abbott in second with 50 points. Brown currently holds down third with 39 points, five points ahead of Davis.
