The September 23 round of the AMA National Hare & Hound has been moved from Jackpot, Nevada, to Wells, Nevada, 70 miles south of the orginal start site. The date of the Wells-to-Wendover race (formerly Jackpot) remains the same.
The event in Wells marks the return of the popular Wells-to-Wendover (W2W) 105-mile, point-to-point race.
As far as the Jackpot race, “We plan on hosting a National Hare and Hound there [Jackpot] in 2001,” says Wild Rockies director Ron Dillon.
