There have been several reports from various sources, some incorrect, regarding the date and time for the Jim Davis Memorial Service at Daytona International Speedway, according to the AMA.
The following information has come directly from Daytona staff,and,on their request,AMA Pro Racing is distributing to the racing community.
On Monday, March 6, a Memorial Service for the late Jim Davis will be held at Daytona International Speedway, beginning at 11 a.m. The Reverend Dan Crawley III will be officiating.
Those wishing to attend should enter through the tunnel entrance and proceed as directed.
The service will last approximately 30 minutes, and those in attendance will then exit the track at that time.
