Yamaha Hosts OAI Event at Perris Raceway
Yamaha recently hosted a special event at Perris Raceway to mark the track’s recent grant from the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative (OAI).

The Yamaha-Perris Raceway partnership came together to support the delivery of the All Kids Bike program at Good Hope Elementary in Perris, connecting the track with the local school to encourage the next generation of two-wheel enthusiasts.

“Yamaha OAI is committed to protecting the history, culture and future of motocross and hopes this effort inspires the entire industry to get involved and help the MX community continue to thrive,” said Yamaha.

“This event highlights the tangible improvements Perris Raceway has made with its OAI grant award and highlights the important role of motocross tracks, both here in Southern California and throughout the United States, in maintaining safe and responsible access for motocross enthusiasts.

“While we celebrate the achievements of the team at the Perris Raceway thanks to Yamaha’s support, the needs of this facility and those like it across this country extend far beyond the resources of one company. The time is long since passed for the industry to recognize the importance of tracks for the motocross community, and now broad support across the industry as a whole is needed. Working together to invest in these tracks will ensure the long-term future of this sport, providing riders across the country with safe places to ride for years to come.”
