Irv Seaver Motorcycles is hosting a BMW Motorrad GS Trophy Panel Presentation on January 22 with special guests, plus food and refreshments.

As the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy event—an annual global, amateur off-road motorcycle competition—is gearing up for 2026, Irv Seaver Motorcycles is hosting presentations from ADV specialists Sherri Burrell, Andre LaPlante and Stephanie Townsend on February 22. Get ready to be inspired by their stories of challenges, triumphs, and the key secrets to mastering adventure riding.

  • Stephanie Townsend, International Female Competition winner
  • Sherri Burrell, two-time GS Trophy Finalist
  • Andre LaPlante of MotoVentures
Stephanie Townsend winner of 2026 International GS Trophy Qualifier

Townsend of Colorado won the women’s category at the recent BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Qualifier in Germany, earning a position on the Women’s International Team, and will head to Romania in September 13-19 for the 2026 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy .

Burrell finessed her way through every element of the GS Trophy Qualifier and was among the top five of the International women riders.

Both Townsend and Burrell are members of The F.A.R.M. (Fearless Adventure Riding Maniacs), a group dedicated to empowering riders through skill-building and fearless exploration.

LaPlante from MotoVentures will also be on hand. Based in Anza, California, MotoVentures is an off-road training school founded by Andre’s father, Gary LaPlante. The school emphasizes a “dirt first” philosophy for all types of riders, including those on large BMW GS motorcycles.

The event on January 22 begins at 6 p.m. at the Irv Seaver BMW Heritage Room, located at 535 W Katella Ave, Orange, California 92867, across the street from Irv Seaver Motorcycles dealership.
