The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) is excited to announce a $20,750 purse for the AHRMA Pro Challenge.

The 12-lap race will be held on October 4, 2025, at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL, during the 20th annual Barber Vintage Festival as part of the 2025 AHRMA Roadracing Series presented by Motobilia. Sponsored by Fast by Ferracci Racing and Moto Corse Performance, with supporting sponsors NOLA Riding Academy and Larrabure Framing, the race will feature a vast array of today’s most exciting race bikes.

Riders will elect Pro or Non-Pro status before the race. A Pro rider on an AHRMA waiver cannot elect Non-Pro status, but a Barber Qualified AHRMA racer can elect Pro if they chose to do so. An AHRMA Non-Pro rider on an AHRMA waiver may elect Non-Pro status pending approval by the race director.

AHRMA Announces Expanded Saturday Purse for 2025 Vintage Cup at Barber Vintage Festival
The final round of the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association 2025 Vintage Cup will once again offer racers the opportunity to compete for a portion of a generous purse.
AHRMA and NYC Norton have announced a $3,000 purse to be divided amongst the top five finishers in the Saturday, October 4, 2025, 500 Premier race during the 20th Annual Barber Vintage Festival.

Sponsored by Hagerty Insurance, Roadracingworld.com, and NYC Norton (nycnorton.com), AHRMA’s 2025 Vintage Cup features the 500 Premier class which includes 500cc four-stroke machines built up to and including 1968.
“AHRMA is a tight-knit family with a true interest in keeping our classics on the race track,” said Kenny Cummings of NYC Norton. “This is never more clear than when folks step up–many who are not even racing within this class–and contribute to the AHRMA Vintage Cup Challenge Purse for our year end 500 Premier race taking place Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the spectacular Vintage Festival at Barber Motorsports Park.

The purse is not funded by the AHRMA organization, and no racer is obligated to accept it.
To be eligible for the cash purse, a Vintage Cup 500 Premier racer must meet the following criteria:
- Be a licensed AHRMA member/competitor.
- Be in compliance with the AHRMA Barber Racer Eligibility Requirements (found at ahrma.org/schedules-results).
- Take part in the Thursday or Friday practice.
- Be registered in the “500 Premier Vintage Cup” class to race on Saturday.
- Compete on a race bike which conforms to the 500 Premier machine requirements (refer to ahrma.org/ahrma-handbook).
Other licensed road racers that don’t meet the AHRMA Barber Racer Eligibility Requirements, may request a special waiver from AHRMA. Waivers must be submitted through the online AHRMA Barber Waiver Request Form no later than midnight Central Thursday, October 3rd).
