WorldSBK Race Two
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) continued to prove his mastery of the 4.411km long Magny Cours circuit on Sunday afternoon with his third race win in three attempts.
Once again he managed to get away out front at the start and with eventual third-placed Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) getting into second place for a time, Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) had little chance of trying to stay in Razgatlioglu’s slipstream.

Even if he had managed that early feat, the strength of Toprak’s consistent pace was once again enough to give him not just a win but another clear one. He was over eight seconds up on Bulega at the end, with Lowes 12 seconds from first place.
The Race Two podium was a replica of both previous Magny Cours races, but the beginning of the final race of the weekend was a multi-layered fight for the final podium track position.
Before Lowes made his race-long consistent pace tell, he had both Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) to deal with. Both would pass him but then both would then drop off – Petrucci significantly so – as the race ran out to a finish.
Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) would move forward to take forth place, a revitalised Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) would take fifth spot and Rea would take a top ten finish after running inside the podium places for a time.
Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC) placed seventh, Petrucci was finally eighth, Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) ninth and Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) tenth.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) was 11th and Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) 13th.
In the championship, Razgatlioglu’s perfect weekend sees him sitting on 469 points to Bulega’s 430. A difference of 39, but with three rounds left nothing at all is decided yet.
Petrucci is third with 260 and Locatelli third with 236.

WorldSSP Race Two
Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) pulled off a seemingly impossible comeback in Race Two after fellow Yamaha R9 rider Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) had taken what appeared to be an unassailable lead.
Manzi made a determined pass into the Imola chicane on the very last lap, giving his Turkish rival no chance to get back into contention before the end of the 19th and final tour of the 4.411km long French circuit.

Coming through the field, Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) finally overtook race-long podium contender Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) to secure a podium finish. Fourth was the season-best single race result for new WorldSSP rider Alcoba and the revamped Ninja ZX-6R 636.
After French rider and series regular Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse Ducati) crashed out, local hopes of a podium turned to the ever-improving Corentin Perolari (Honda RACING World Supersport). He placed fifth, after closing in and harrying Alcoba in the final laps.
Simon Jespersen (Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team Ducati) was the top Panigale rider in sixth place, with the best MV runner being Filippo Farioli (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) in seventh.
Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati), Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) and Oli Bayliss (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) rounded out the top ten.
In the championship ranking, after nine rounds, Manzi extended his lead over Öncü to 69 points, on the same day that Yamaha were crowned Manufacturers’ Champion with three full rounds to go.
Manzi has 344 points, Öncü 275, Booth-Amos 214 and Masia 198.

WorldWCR Race Two
Once again the WorldWCR category offered up the closest front-running racing of all, with no less than five possible Race Two winners taking on the warm conditions in search of podium glory.
The eventual race winner was Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha), who had managed to get 0.314 seconds clear at the flag.

A moment of high drama saw Chloe Jones (GR Motorsport) take second place, from local hard charger Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94-YAMAHA). That final podium position ranking result was soon reversed, but then finally reinstated, after it was adjudged that Jones had been ahead of Boudesseul as she was forced over the inside kerbs at the final chicane, exceeding track limits as she clearly ran over the green paint.
Championship leader Maria Herrera (Klint Forward Racing Team) was fourth and her team-mate Roberta Ponziani (Klint Forward Racing Team) fifths.
The top five riders were separated by just 0.667 seconds after 11 laps.
Natalia Rivera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team) was sixth in Race Two, Avalon Lewis (Carl Cox Motorsports) seventh, and Justine Pedemonte (MDS) eighth.
After Tayla Relph (TAYCO Motorsports) was disqualified for ignoring a black flag, Pakita Ruiz (PR46+1 Racing Team) was ninth and Mallory Dobbs (MKD Racing Team) tenth.
In the championship points, Herrera leads Neila by just six points, 210-204. All to play for in the series finale at Jerez in October. Ponziani is currently third with 136 points and Jones fourth with 133.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) had Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) ahead of him after the launch from the startline in the Superpole Race but at the first real passing opportunity the Turkish Superstar went inside under braking and took a lead that would be unthreatened from that point.
He set a new lap record of 1’35.500, on lap three.

With Razgatlioglu away and clear, Bulega survived a fast run-on experience at T16 to get into second place again, and finish 3.712 seconds behind Razgatlioglu after ten laps.
Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) survived another strong challenge from his brother Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati), until the latter crashed out, as he had done in Race One.
Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) was a distant fourth, with the aggressive Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) fifth and Andrea Iannone (Team Pata Go Eleven Ducati) sixth.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha), Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) and Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC) formed a single group across the line, from seventh to ninth place.
Tenth, at the head of another three rider group, was Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team).

Saturday WorldSBK Race One
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) took the lead from his pole position starting position and held it all the way to the flag after 21 laps of almost simply racing the clock.
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was second, 8.597 seconds behind thew win, with second row starter Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) a strong third.

A five rider/two incident crash at T13 on Lap Two caused a long term yellow flag after Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha), Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) and Andrea Iannone (Team Pata Go Eleven Ducati) got tangled in one incident, with Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC) and Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) having their own problems in the same corner.
Out front, Toprak went at it like a man possessed to initially lead the fast starting Alex Lowes, and then the hard-chasing Bulega.
A new lap record of 1’35.642 saw Razgatlioglu extend his lead still further in the sunny conditions. By lap eight of 21 Razgatlioglu was 2.733 seconds ahead of Bulega. He was the only rider setting 1’35 laps with half the race gone.
Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) was finally fourth, but 17 seconds down on Razgatlioglu’s winning pace.
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) came from the back of the grid after a crash in Superpole to take fifth position.
Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) placed sixth, just half a second ahead of the pushing Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) in seventh place.
Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) was eighth, while Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) joined the crasher class, falling from fourth place with a very few laps left to run. He finished in ninth place after getting going again. Tenth position was secured by Independent Yamaha rider, Bahattin Sofuoglu (Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team).
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) was on course for a seventh place finish until he suffered a late fall. Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) was having a strong race in sixth place until he crashed with eight laps gone.
Two more WorldSBK races on Sunday at Magny Cours – the ten lap sprint and then another 21-lap Race Two.

WorldSSP Race One
For a period of time in the 19-lap WorldSSP Race One at Magny Cours Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) looked like he would ease out to win, until Superpole Qualifying top dog Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) caught and passed him.
Manzi pounced right at the end to take yet another win – his eighth of the season – and stretch his World Championship lead over Öncü once again.

It was a virtual Yamaha benefit at Magny Cours, with the first four places going to R9 riders. They all rode as one group at one time but near the end local hero Lucas Mahias (GMT 94) was slightly adrift of the leaders in third, and new WorldSSP stand-in rider, Alberto Surra (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team) fourth.
That rider-to-rider result was reversed after Mahias got a three second penalty for cutting the course, giving Surra a remarkable podium as a replacement for the injured Aldi Mahendra.
Fifth place was held by Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) for a time, but he was shuffled back as local Honda rider Corentin Perolari (Honda RACING World Supersport), who put in a brilliant ride in the sunshine from eighth place on the grid to fifth at the flag.
Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) was sixth, Filippo Farioli (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) sixth and then Alcoba eventually eighth.
The top ten in Race One was rounded out by Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) and Bo Bendsneyder (MV Agusta Reparto Corse). Oli Bayliss (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) was 12th.
The all-new QJ Supersport offering, unveiled at this round on Friday, was piloted to 13th place in Race One by Rafaelle De Rosa (QJ Motor Factory Racing).

WorldWCR Race One
The first WorldWCR race of the Magny Cours weekend, held under sunny skies and on a dry track surface, saw a last lap fight between Maria Herrera (Klint Forward Racing Team) and pole-sitter Chloe Jones (GR Motorsport) go the way of the Spanish rider. The final advantage was just 0.130, after 11 laps of a particularly tough contest for some riders.
Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha) would finish third, 2.868 seconds from the win, but regular top competitor Sara Sanchez (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team) would crash at Turn 9 and break her hand.

A near crash for strong local rider Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94-YAMAHA) saw her drop from fourth place to a final fifth, behind Roberta Ponziani (Klint Forward Racing Team), who had started from eighth place on the grid.
A season best for Natalia Rivera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team) put her into the top six.
French rider Justine Pedemonte (MDS) placed seventh, one place ahead of Aussie rider Tayla Relph (TAYCO Motorsports).
Local runner Line Viellard (FT Racing Academy) was ninth and the top ten was rounded out by American rider, Mallory Dobbs (Diva Racing).

WorldSBK Superpole
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) took WorldSBK into the 1’34s for the first time with his Superpole winning 1’34.930 new track best lap time. This was his fifth Superpole Qualifying success of the 2025 season.
He will be joined on the front row of the grid for Race One by his true championship rival, Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), who was second fastest, and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) after the English rider snatched third place right at the end of the session.

Sam displaced his twin brother Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) thanks to his strong performance, with Alex’s fourth place time still over half a second from Razgatlioglu’s new all-time track best.
Fifth place went to Andrea Iannone (Team Pata Go Eleven Ducati), with another privateer Ducati rider, Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati), in sixth place, completing the second row of the grid.
The V4-Rs had things much their own way in Superpole, as Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) placed seventh on the grid, making it five Ducatis in the top seven places.
Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) was eighth and the lead Yamaha rider in qualifying was Aussie rider Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team), in ninth position. After a tough early weekend experience, Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) recovered some ground to go tenth in Superpole, just under a second from Razgatlioglu’s best time.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was 13th on the grid, Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was only 14th, but both Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) had even worse fortune when they failed to qualify, having crashed out early in the session, in separate incidents. They will each be allowed to start the first race, albeit from the eighth (and last) row of the grid.

Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) took his R9 to pole position at Magny Cours, in the last session of the opening day. Under sunny skies he set a 1’39.442 to not just earn the Superpole ‘win’ but break the previous track best lap, which had been set by Adrian Huertas last year.
On a dominant day for some top Yamaha riders second place – and 0.221 seconds behind Öncü – was championship leader Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha). Local hero and former World Champion Lucas Mahias (GMT94-Yamaha) third quickest on home asphalt.

Proven race winner since he joined WorldSSP, Bo Bendsneyder (MV Agusta Reparto Corse), placed fourth in qualifying, with Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) fifth – and just one place from his previous best qualifying position of fourth.
Federico Caricasulo (D34G WorldSSP Racing Team Ducati) was the top Ducati rider in the field, in sixth place after Superpole.
